Our Special Visitors – 16th December

What an exciting and amazing morning we have had at Jollies…. Santa couldn’t come in and see us this year as no visitors are currently allowed into our nursery bubble…. not even Santa…. apart from our lovely staff team and our children. However, he hadn’t forgotten us! There was a loud knock on the door and a jingling of bells and Santa had left us a magical box of pressies and a very special scroll which turned out to be a letter for all of us from him! This year Santa enlisted his Helper Elves, Elf Katy and Elf Laura, and they delivered the presents to the rooms (in a Covid secure way… they wore face masks and they sanitised their hands between rooms and they were only very briefly in each room and at a distance from the children and staff team within each bubble) and the older children were totally mesmerised as they read out Santa’s letter to them and they proudly sang a quick Christmas song and then gave the elves the biggest wave to pass on to Santa. The children are very excited to take their present from Santa home to place under their trees ready for Christmas Day 💖🎄💖🎅🏻💖 (Although we feel we may have one disappointed little one who said they were hoping the pressie today was an iPad…. ooops😬)
