Pouncing Possums

We are the youngest babies (your little possums!) in nursery and we play and explore with the help and encouragement of supportive adults.  As well as having the added bonus of having other friends around us to share in our play!

We explore our surroundings in our ‘home-from-home’ environment and play with a range of stimulating toys as well as discovering more unusual objects in our ‘treasure baskets’…  We love to touch, taste, smell, feel and listen and we love twinkling lights, dangling baubles and things that are bright and shiny.

We love to get messy (I’m sure Mummy and Daddy are glad I do it at nursery!!!). We love anything messy……. paint, cornflour gloop, cooked spaghetti, crazy foam, sand, water, soil and even baked beans!!!

Our room is always so bright and welcoming. We like to decorate the walls with our artwork, photos of what we have been doing and things of interest to us. It is nice that our families can see what we have been up to while they have been doing ‘grown-up’ work!
